Status updates

As the summer begins to come to a close I would like to give a report of how my projects are coming along.

Google Summer of code

Color.module is coming along as anticipated. I am fulfilling what was promised in the original proposal minus small exception (anonymous scheme selection).

The scope of this progress and it's completion goes beyond the time allotted in the summer of code. I want to be able to continue adding features for a few months after. Enhance documentation, get some better demonstration themes working, etc. I've grown attached to the color module and would like to see its functionality reach Drupal 7.

Link-it and post-a-link

Link-it is a small PHP program meant to take in URL's, perform an action with a remote server, and take a processed URL back. Such as creating a TinyURL, webcitation, etc.

In the future, Link-it may be merged with post-a-link. Overall, these projects are meant to be things that can be tiny and deliver results. No new, boring framework underway here.

Themes

Themes themes themes themes. Before this year ends there is going to be a recode of every one. Not to mention an apology for publishing themes w/o giving them enough testing for IE6. Microsoft needs to offer updates for Internet Explorer like Mozilla Firefox does. Of course, architecture this and that.
